Monkeys.

Happy Saturday! I've got a lot going on today, so this has gotta be quick! This is a diaper cake I've made - Jungle styles. The cake itself, I like. The pics, not so much! But its a gloomy day here and I'll miss the deadline at Posh Scrapbook Store if I leave it any longer! They're a new store opening up in Montreal, and they have a great sketch this week.

This is the card for with it,

Going Batty!

That's the challenge this week at Kaboodle Doodles!! Make a Hallowe'en card, scrapbook page, any project as long as it has a bat somewhere!
The sponser for this challenge is
Fairy Knoll. The winner will receive 3 digis of their choosing!
I decided to make a tag for my project. Using an image by Fairy Knoll called Little Monster. The great thing about digis is the way you can adjust their size. I went extra small so it fit onto my tag.

For these challenges -
Stampin' for the Weekend. HALLOWE'EN/AUTUMN theme.
Polka Doodles. SOMETHING SPOOKY.
Stamptacular Sunday. ANYTHING BUT A CARD.
Thanks, looking forward to seeing your creations!

Autumn Keychain.

I've made something for myself for a change! It's because I wanted to play around again with some Sculpey, and I was unsure of how it was goinig to turn out. I want to be able to make buttons and other embellishments for my cards as I never seem to have what I need!! Also, it's fun! I decided to make a keychain. I appreciate your feedback!

Baby Girl Brag Book.

I found this little, felt, wallet-sized photo holder made by a company called Twirl. I thought it was so cute, and it was only $1.50! With the upcoming bazaar in mind, I added a bunch of pages and turned it into a brag book.

Some pages fold out for extra photos. This one has an envelope for special keepsakes.

And since the theme of this post is bragging, here is a pic of my 3 sweeties taken this weekend at a pumpkin patch! I love 'em!!

Baptism Card.

My baby niece Daniella is being baptised this weekend. So I did what I do for any occasion, I made a card. There is more to this story......
I have, since my first card-making days admired those BEAUTIFUL silky circular flowers, but assumed they were store bought.

This is the type I'm talking about. This one, from an older project of mine, is from an on-line store. I have tried, and tried to duplicate it. Never even came close. Then I found this article at The Hybrid Chick. Written by the a-mazingly talented Clare Buswell. I don't think I've ever been so happy about a tutorial before!! So I (gently) ripped off the ribbon flower that was already on my card, and replaced it with my very own "melted silk" flower. Thank you Clare!!!!

There is still more to this story. Please don't stop reading yet, I'm really hoping for some feedback on this next part!

I made a photo holder out of Sculpey. I've never molded anything before. Other than play-doh with the kids. But the other day, when it was a rainy afternoon, I got out the modelling clay for the kids and the Sculpey for me and made this. Whatdayathink? Either way, I had a fun day with my 3 favourite little people!

Fall Is In the Air!

Hi everybody! Today is the start of a new challenge at Kaboodle Doodles.

We have a colour challenge this time and
I just love these colours at this time of year!
Our sponser this week is Digital Delights, and they've got some of the cutest digi's around! The lucky winner will receive $10 to spend in their store!

For my card I used the cat with pumpkin stamp. So sweet. I decided to paper piece both the cat and the pumpkin, as I'm a bit of a paper-aholic!

Best of luck to those who play along! It's sure to be a fun challenge!
Thanks,
Farrah
