I Couldn't Stop Myself.

I just really enjoy "Christmas in July"!! It's such a great way to get a step ahead of the Christmas rush.
Two things intrigued me, and are the inspiration for this card. First is The Shabby Tea Room. I just discovered their challenges, and I thought - "I really wanna do something Shabby". Second thing that interested me is the "Pastel Christmas" theme at Cupcake Craft. I figured those two things combined would make for an interesting card.

For these challenges -
As I mentioned, The Shabby Tea Room. They have a One ribbon, Two buttons, Three punch challenge. (Un-believable DT work!)
Cupcake Craft asks for pastel Christmas.
Polka Doodle and Stamptacular Sunday are both Christmas in July.

Kaboodle Doodles #36!

Happy Monday everyone! Monday means a new challenge at Kaboodle Doodles. It's a colour combo challenge,

Isn't that great?! Also great is our sponser for this challenge - Meljen's Designs. The winner gets 4 digi's of their choosing!
I had the pleasure of playing with one of their wonderful images.
I coloured with markers and added some paper piecing to give my card some dimension. I paper pieced the 2 focal point mushrooms and the wings of the cute little bumblebees.

Thanks for looking, and be sure to play along! I look forward to seeing your creations!!

A Baby Card.

My sister-in-law had a sweet baby girl last week. Unfortunatly she lives down in New York so I haven't been able to visit. Yet. I think I'll start the process of getting my kids their passports so we can get there soon. This card is for her. I can atleast send my gift down, now that everyone is home from the hospital.

For these challenges -
Stamptacular Sunday wants to see Ice Cream colours.
Pollycraft has a birthday theme. I took it literally as BIRTH-day!
Crafts 4 Eternity has a recipe with a sketch, the colour combo using Coffee & Cream, and a digi bingo card (which they were kind enough to give out.) I absolutly LOVE the digis they have for a prize this week!! Perfect for making invitations. Check it out, if you haven't already.
Lil Lolita Boutique has a colour combo of Cream, Pink and Purple. This is my first time playing with Lil Lolita as I've only just discovered them. But the digis are really awesome and I'm looking forward to trying some out.

Jingle Bells.

I saw some of my fav challenge blogs have Christmas themes and I couldn't resist joining in! I had the idea to make these Post-It holders as around Christmas time I like to be able to make notes (about gifts or party ideas etc....) at any time. A few days ago I saw someone wearing a t-shirt that said "Lost in my own little world....but it's okay, they know me there." I can relate. I made a couple for friends too.

For these challenges -
Magical Crafts is Christmas in July. Magical Crafts, I see, are shutting down after this challenge **sniff sniff** Take care DT crew, you'll be missed.
And I used the sketch from Stamptacular Sunday for both.
Have a good weekend,
Farrah

Girlie Party Invites.

I feel like I've been working on this set for ages! Then I struggled to get pics because my camera NEEDS natural light, so I had to snap fast, between hail storms and rain downpours. I must have been pretty quick because I have quite a few pics going into this post. (The top of my Christmas wish list says 1.NEW CAMERA!)

This is a set of Girl Party Invitations. Including the following -
12 Invites, with envelopes,
12 cake/cupcake toppers,
12 Thank You gift/loot bag tags,
contained in an acetate window box.

I really hope you like it, I had tons of fun making it.

The cake toppers

The card. Inside and out.

The tag, card and topper.

All together and in the box.

For these challenges -
Polka Doodleshas a Summertime theme.
Sir Stamp Alot Hazy, Lazy Days of Summer.
Cupcake Craftwants a project with acetate.

Bye for now,

A Happy Monday!

I've been looking forward to today, because now I can announce that I have joined the DT at Kaboodle Doodles!! I'm soooo excited about it and have had tons of fun so far! They are a talented bunch!!
The challenge this fortnight has a Luau theme. The sponser, Deedee's Digis kindly gave us some of their brand new digis to play with. Here's what I've come up with.

Ya gotta play if ya wanna win! Deedee's Digi's is giving the winner 5 digi's of their choice! There is also the Top 3 honor up for grabs!

Thanks for stopping by,
Farrah
