Rocket Card.

My daughter has another boy's b-day party, so I had to make another boy card. I almost didn't finish this one in time! I put it off because I need to use an unusual technique for
Crafty Ann's Challenge Blog I tried to decide what to do, so I went with watercolour painting on my card. I've never done that before. I'm also entering it in
Charisma Cardz They want a birthday card that includes a candle.

Same Idea, Different Card.

For my last post, I made a "fancy fold flower" card. I liked it, but I kept thinking about lilies and if I could make them. I had to try. This is how it turned out.

Also for these challenges;
Basic Grey Challengewhich is asking for the colour combo maroon, lemon and pink. Perfect for a lily card! I love when everything comes together!
Stampin For The Weekendwhich is a sketch. I stretched it out a bit to make it into an easel card. I wanted less clutter around the lilies to draw attention to them.

Black and Pink Wednesday.

I managed to finish the card I was working on last night. In between watching LOST I got it done. My desk is an absolute mess though. Tonight I'm gonna spend tidying and re-organizing my work space. Is it wrong that that I'm looking forward to that?!

This card is for 2 challenges;
Crafts 4 Eternity has a sketch, using black and pink, with staples.
Kaboodle Doodles wants fancy folds.

Have a great day.

Tea Time Card.

Whenever I have a cuppa tea, I want a big, fat book in my lap for with it. That is the reason for the layers and volume of this card. I hope it doesn't appear too busy, I was hoping just to give it a lot of texture.

For these challenges:
Charisma Cardz is a sketch. An excellent sketch really. I recommend it, it was fun and unique!
Totally Paper Crafts wants spots. And
Totally Gorjuss is all about flower power!

For My Mum.

I'll be seeing my mom this weekend, and her b-day is on Tuesday so I made her this combo. She prefers it if I don't get her a present, but I feel I have to get a little something. And she LOVES cactuses ( maybe it's cacti?! )

For the following challenges:
Sketch Saturday. It's the card that follows the sketch.
Totally Gorjuss.has a love theme. And
Cupcake Craft Challenges wants something simple. Ummm, I'm just entering the card for that one. The flower pot box was a lot of work!
BTW - the template for the flower pot is from SplitCoast Stampers.
Bye for now

DinoMite.

This card is for one of my daughter's classmates. She helped with the inking and with the cuttlebug-ging. We had a nice time together.
It's also for a couple of challenges, of course.
Pollycraft has a Double Up theme. You need to use multiple stamped images. And
Crafts 4 Eternity has a sketch, also using polka dots and chipboard.

I really need to do something girlie. Pink and flowery. It's been too long. Maybe my next project.

Treasure Box.

A quick post before bed. I can't let Cupcake Craft Challenges pass by without entering!
Have a super long weekend.

Something Else.

When I saw Charisma Cardz had a MALE theme I thought it sounded challenging. I started to think about my husband and what he would find useful. I decided on this altered metal clip. It's for him to take to the office. It could be used to hold papers together, but it's also a magnet so really, it has many possibilities.
The layout is the sketch this week at Totally Gorjuss

While I was surfing around for a funny saying to add, I read a quote that I found amusing. Thought I'd share
" There has to be a better way to start the day, than having to get up in the morning." It gave me a laugh anyways.

I LOVE YOU Card.

I had a lot of fun making this card. Also used up some scraps doing so, but my drawer is still overflowing with small random squares, or paper pieces with Cricut cut shapes missing.
For the following challenges;
Crafts 4 Eternity has a sketch, also RED and a HEART.
Charisma Cardz is I Love You theme. FUN!
Stampin For the Weekend is Valentine's Theme, and of course, be sure to use a stamped image.
Kaboodle Doodles wants spots and stripes.
Oh the fun of it all. Thanks for passing by.

It's Like I Have a New Camera.

I've been studying my camera's manual and learning how buttons and dials work and what an improvement on picture quality!! I could no longer cope with spending hours on little details on my crafts, only to end up with a photo too poor to show it!
Ah-ha, I took a close up shot of this Valentine's Gift Bag just because I can!

I'm entering this it these great challenges-
Kaboodle Doodles wants color combo PINK LEMON GREEN PLUM
Pollycraft wants something with WINGS
Totally Gorjuss wants PAPER PIERCING
Basic Grey wants an ANIMAL. This one, admittedly, is a stretch as I've used a butterfly ( technically an insect )
I'll have a look around some of the other entries, if no one else used butterflies I'll pull out of the challenge *sniff sniff*
Thanks for stopping by!!
