Christmassy Card.

Half of the summer holidays have gone by and I've been getting such little crafting done. But so far we've been having a lot of fun. I still can't believe the boys start JK this year and that very soon I'll have the house to myself every afternoon.

I'll need more Christmas cards for the craft show in November so once in a while I should make one. I played with the CAS style for this. Tricky because I kept wanting to add more. I'm also on a bit of a Kraft kick lately. I got a great deal at Michael's and bought a 20 card pack for $1.79. And the rub-on snowflakes and sentiment are dollar store purchases, so this is one heck of a thrifty card! I'm also super excited because I FINALLY learned how to enlarge pics on here without making them blurry. I had "googled" it a while ago and there is a lot of false info out there but I managed to find someone who knows what they're talking about.

I doubt I'll be back with anything in the next couple days so have a good weekend (long weekend, if it applies to you as it does to me!!)

Stationary Set.

Not quite as hot out today. THANKFULLY. This weekend were heading down to my mom's for a visit. I love when we go there. I get a break from cooking and cleaning. There is also a fair this weekend with rides and games for the kids.

Last year at the bazaar we had 3 stationary sets and they went fast. This year I wanna have made atleast 6. I did one back in the Spring so here is the second.

5 of each card and tag with envelopes.

Everything together.

New Baby Card.

Now I have to be so quick here. I got to roaming around in blogland and it's getting late and I'm tired. The heat here is ridiculous. Something like 48 billion degrees.
I'm starting to think ahead to the craft show and really need to make some baby and sympathy cards. Here is a baby one.

Experimenting.

I saw something similar to this done on canvas. I loved the simplicity of it. It took a few tries to get the light, faded look that I was going for as I haven't played around much with watercolour paints in quite a while. I couldn't even find mine, I had to use the kid's supply.
