Birthday Card.

I made this card for a friend of my daughter. The party is later today, so I need to hurry! I'm entering it in the Sketch Saturday challenge. What? Today is only Sunday, how did I finish the card so fast?! It was mostly finished a couple days ago. I like to get all the bits and pieces together first, before I glue the whole thing together. So I fit everything to qualify for the challenge.

Valentine's Class Treats.

Thank you Cupcake Craft Challenges
for having a Matching Set theme as I was in the process of making these gum pouches for my daughter's school! As usual, your DT work is beautiful!
The inspiration for this project comes from a FANTASTIC blog!
Impressions By Rochelle
Be sure to have a look around her blog, it's crammed full of ideas and wonderful creations!
Now I can only hope my daughter's teacher will allow these little goodies into her class! You would think Valentine's Treats would be welcomed, but her school is an odd sort!
Until next time.

Happy Tuesday.

I wanted to imitate the sunset for this card. I've never done so much shading and inking on a single card before! I've never used chalk, but I think I might get some and see how different the card turns out.
I'm entering this in the following challenges:
Sketch Saturdays
Totally Gorjuss - asks for dimension.
Basic Grey - asks for animal theme.
Thanks for stopping by!

Card Making is my Addiction.

I have a number of other things I'd also like to be working on. But ohhhh no. I surf around different challenge blogs, looking for fun ones to enter.
This card is for both Charisma and Sketch Saturday. I love the new Sweet Stack paper by DCWV. It's really pretty. All the paper in this card was used from it, and the stamp is a digital one.
Bye for now.

Pollycraft Challenge.

The more things I see done over at Pollycraft, the more I like their DT work.
For this challenge they want FIRE & ICE. I love it!
I've also been playing more with digital stamps. I was a little skeptical at first. I didn't like the idea of digital products replacing a nice solid object that I can hold in my hand. But I found that I really enjoy them as an additional stamping technique.
Thanks for looking. Happy crafting.

Basic Grey , Charisma and Pollycraft Card.

I really like the Basic Grey Challenge Blog. The DT work is fabulous and the prizes are sooo great. Their challenge this week is a photo inspiration. I enjoyed the cold, wintery colors with a feminine feel in the photo, so I tried to duplicate that in my card.
Charisma- another super fun blog!- wants something new. Easy! I'm always buying and making something new!
And Pollycraft wants a winter birthday card. This is my first time entering at Pollycraft. Maybe beginners luck?! Their DT work is also fantastic.
Thanks for looking!

Happy 2010!

I hope everyone had a great holiday season!
Only 1 week into the New Year and already it's been good.

This card is for the Kaboodle challenge. It's a sketch this week. I enjoy that type of challenge. Also, this is the first card I've made using my new Cuttlebug. I'm not really sure how I managed so long without one.
The colors in this card are actually paler than they look. I took tons of pics, this one is the closed to capturing the prettiness of the paper.
