Tag Crazy!!!

I LOVE making Christmas tags! I find I use more of them than actual cards, as they're handy for Hostess, not-so-close friend's etc... gifts.
So as our new challenge at Kaboodle Doodles is TAG - YOU'RE IT! I took it as an opportunity to make a bunch!!
Our sponser this week is the GREAT Robyn's Fetish and I LOVE their digi's! So many fun images to choose from that I couldn't pick just one!

So here is a bunch of tags I made..... and when you make one, please play along so I can come check them out!!

Little Boy Brag Book.

I made one of these for a baby girl a couple months ago. Now it's the boy's turn. I used the same technique as the previous brag book. Altered an old felt photo holder and added a ton of pages.

Sorry to bombard you with soooo many pics! I just REALLY love my new camera, and this book has quite a few different pages.

Where've Ya Been?

I realize I've been MIA for a week. No post for 7 days is so unlike me so I thought I'd share some stories.
My first ever craft show was a roaring success! And oh so FUN! Sandra and I had 2 tables overflowing with crafts. We met a lot of great people, but what I enjoyed the most was whenever anyone had something nice to say about my work!

These bags Sandra made with just a bit of Kraft paper, twine and a streak of genius!

We also had a few requests. So Sandra has been hard at work painting Christmas bulbs (hopefully she'll post them soon, I too have yet to see them.) and I have been making boxes for someone I met who sells candles. Like I said SO FUN!

I've also been making quick Christmas ornaments with my daughter,

Had a visit from my sister-in-law and finally met my newest niece Daniella.....

And had the pleasure of watching my son fall asleep in the middle of dessert!

Promise to be back soon, I'm almost done my latest project.

Kaboodle Doodles #44

I knew I was gonna enjoy the vintage challenge, but some of the cards submitted were OUTSTANDING!!!
.
Our new challenge is sure to be fun too! It's a recipe- 1 plain paper, 2 patterned papers and 3 embellishments. The sponser is the super fab Pholkart Blessings and they are giving the winner 4 images from their store!!
For my card I used a sweet snowman digi that they kindly let me borrow.

As my 3 embellishments I used a chipboard } shape, ribbon and a heart that I covered in crackle paint.

This card also fits into this challenge -
Paper Sundaes. YOUR FAVOURITE TOPPINGS. I've used them all!
Thanks,
Farrah

Mom and Daughter Craft Time.

If you've seen the newest issue of Scrapbooking Etc. then you'll recognize this project. Sometimes my daughter Livy looks through my magazines and she really liked these candy cane reindeer. Is reindeer spelt right? I guess i before e except after c doesn't apply in this case!
Here's what we made together.

We didn't have an googly eyes so we used circles with a black dot and covered them with Glossy Accents.

For Those Long Car Trips.

The craft bazaar is next weekend, so I've hit the turbo! Wonder how many things I can finish this week!?!! This is a travel kit I put together. Made from an old duo-tang. (I have no idea if that is the correct spelling!) For the front I used the AWESOME sketch from Posh Scrapbook Store. I think this sketch is super fab!

The inside front has a dry-clean white board, crayons and a journal with blank pages that is attached with velcro.

The insert is filled with colouring and activity pages, and the inside back has travel bingo. The bingo cards have an acetate cover so the marker erases right off.

And it's all kid-approved! Although my son might be a little biased!!!

For these challenges -
Posh Scrapbook Store and
Paper Romance EVERYTHING BUT THE KITCHEN SINK. Neat challenge idea!!

Glitter Filled Christmas.

I don't know what's wrong with me! Every time I plan on making a Christmas Card, glitter is the first thing I think of! Why do the holidays equal bling to me?! I decided to try getting it out of my system and made a Christmas card overflowing with glitter. I bought a product called Glitter Ritz on my last trip out to Scrapalicious and it's really great to have. I took a close up pic of it. See the way it layers on top of the paper and still allows the image to show through. It also has a nice velvety feel to it.

The digi is last weeks freebie from Pollycraft. Really sweet, I'm sure I'll be using it often!

For these challenges -
Pollycraft CHILL OUT.
