Hippo Birdie To You - Part II

I've been waiting for a chance to use this cute stamp again. The card is for a friend of my daughter. It's his 6th birthday this weekend.
This card really didn't take long to make. I managed the entire thing last night, from start to finish. With time left over to watch True Blood with hubby.

For these two challenges -
Polka Doodles wants a birthday boy project.
Charisma Cardz something for the boys.

Thanks for looking,
Farrah

Thank You Teacher Gift.

I saw this amazing stationary set tutorial on SplitCoast Stampers and it was love at first sight! I knew I wanted to make one. It's for my daughter's teacher, and I had a lot of fun with it. I went with soft, smoothing colors and designs as the rest of the class is so vibrant and hectic.

Included in the set are 6 Thank You cards with envelopes, 6 For You mini cards with envelopes, 6 tags (they have an A on them as that is teacher's initial.), an attached Notes book, a pen with holder, and a spot to hold stamps.

For 1 challenge, but it's a great challenge - Sir Stamp A Lot. "Punch It"

To the Power of Two.

I don't normally post layouts. Usually I do 1 or 2 a month and put them up over at Scrapjazz. However, the rules at Sir Stampalot say that you can enter their challenge up to 3 times, but each project must be a different form. I've done a card, now a LO. Fingers crossed I can find the time to get a 3rd entry in. Those punches they are giving away are amazing!

For these great challenges -
Sir Stampalot PUNCH IT.
Magical Crafts has a male theme.
Totally Gorjuss also has a male theme.
Cupcake Craft says "Something for the Boys"
Stamptacular has a male theme.

Super - SirStampalot.

I made this card for Sir Stampalot. This is my first time entering for them and if you haven't already, you really should pop over and check them out. The prizes are outstanding and the DT work is stunning! Lots of different interpretations of the PUNCH IT theme. I decided that instead of using a variety of punches, I would use a simple scalloped and hole punch in an unusual way.
Also for Stampin' for the Weekend which has a Summer theme.

Thank You Gift Bag.

Wow, I worked like lightening last night to get this done on time!

For 2 challenges -
Crafts 4 Eternity has a sketch, also use sequins, and make anything but a card.
Polka Doodles wants to see sewing. Mine is the faux version as I don't have the luxury of owning a sewing machine. **sniff sniff**

Thanks,
Farrah

Be Snappy.

I love long weekends. This last one was great. We spent some time by the lake. It was really hot, but there was a nice breeze coming off the water. So I made this card with a Beachy feel.
I saw that Stampin' For the Weekend talks about a great website called Post Pals where you can send a card to a sick child. I think it's a great idea, especially for us crafters who always look for a reason to make a card. My card is for a girl named Panna. She lives in Bangeledash. She is not a part of Post Pals though, she is my World Vision sponsered child. I first started sponsering her 6 years ago, when I had my daughter. She will be 10 yrs old next month.

The card:

For these challenges -

Stampin' for the Weekend "make someone smile".
