A Rushed Post.

I don't know if this is unusual or not, but I don't take pics of my projects immediately after finishing them. I wait a day, then look them over with fresh eyes and sometimes alter things. Not happening this time. I'd miss a couple challenges, so here we go! Fingers crossed I still like this card in the morning.

For these challenges -
Sketch Saturday ,a great sketch this week. Fun to work with.
Stamptacular Sunday asks for Swirls and Pearls. A very original challenge idea, I thought.
Charisma Cardz wants circles.
Totally Gorjuss wants to see Wings.

Thanks,
Farrah

Card With Bookmark.

A few of the challenge blogs that I love have monochromatic themes this week. I thought I wouldn't be entering because I've tried those before and not been happy with what I created. Then I thought "That's why they are called CHALLENGE blogs." so I went for it. I'm glad I did. I think these turned out nice, I hope you like them too!

For these challenges -
Kaboodle Doodles wants monochromatic.
**EDIT** This is my second time entering, as my first link is no longer showing on the Kaboodle list of entries.
Cowgirls Stampen' Sunday wants black, white and red. They also have a blog hop happening this week. It was the first one I've ever taken part in. What fun! A good way to showcase the digis they offer. Everything from motorcycles to cute animals and kids.
Polka Doodles asks for texture and dimension. They also have a freebie download you can use. I chose not to use it only because I don't need to do a Father's Day card. The freebie is excellent though, so I used it as inspiration for this project. I liked the idea of using circles and strips together.
Stamptacular Sunday has "Lovely as a Tree" theme.
Magical Crafts wants black, white and one other color.
Project Tuesday wants a card with matching bookmark. I was so thrilled when I saw this! I check their blog every week, but never managed to get the chance to enter. This time they asked for something I was already working on! Perfect.

Thanks for looking,
Farrah

You're A Champ Card.

Ok, I had fun making this card. I didn't really have a plan going into this project. Only the sketch. I knew I wanted to see where it led me. I also wanted to NOT use any patterned paper. I almost caved in the end, but managed to resist.

For these challenges -
Pollycraft has a great sketch this week. So many possibilities.
Cupcake Craft wants to see buttons.
Stampin' for the Weekend asks for a male themed card.
Totally Paper Crafts wants stitching.
Crafty Ann's has ANYTHING GOES!!

Thanks for stopping by,
Farrah

Sunny Diorama Card.

My daughter was home sick from school the other week. It wasn't anything serious, but she was contagious so I didn't want to spread it to 18 other kids. The plus side was we had loads of time to work on this project together. She wants to send this card to a friend that she hasn't seen in awhile.

And I want to enter it in these challenges -
Crafty Ann'shas an ANYTHING GOES challenge.
Polka Doodlestheme is "Summer Blossoms"
Kaboodle Doodleshas a springtime theme.
PollyCraftwants something summery.
Cowgirls Stampen' Sundayhas their first challenge ever! They ask for something spring/for mom.

Thanks for looking,

Diaper Cake and Card.

A friend of mine asked if I could put together a diaper cake for her. I wanted to laugh when she asked me because she's all like "I'm sorry"....and "If it's not too much trouble...." and me, I'm thrilled to bits that she's asking me.
I also made a card to match.
I hope she likes it, she's coming to pick it up today.

For these challenges -
Magical Crafts asks for something girlie.
Pollycraft wants to see flowers.
Cupcake Craft wants a card that is anything but square.
Polka Doodles wants something altered. I'm entering the cake for that as I altered 2 packs of Pampers.

Thanks,
Farrah
