What Happens When I Have a Whole Night to Myself...

I actually did this entire project tonight. From start to finish, in one day! I've never done that before. I'm exhausted.
I had to though because Crafts For Eternity has a neat challenge this week and I really wanted to play along. It's the "use notepaper" request from them that enticed me and ended up being the part I struggled with. But I managed to make it work. I should have had one more night to finish but my mom is coming tomorrow to stay with the kids and hubby and I get a date night! ( Wild Cheering )

For these challenges -
Crafts 4 Eternity They have a sketch, using notepaper and a butterfly.

Crafty Ann's Challenge wants something for someone special. This gift bag is for a friend of mine's coming birthday.

Charisma Cardz says Spring has Sprung!

Good night,

Birthday Pizza Box.

My daughter has a friend's b-day soon, and it's to be a pizza making party. So I made the card in a pizza box shape. I thought I could put inside a personalized apron and a gift card.

Made with these challenges in mind -
Sketch Saturday I used their sketch this week for the outside of the box.
Basic Grey Challenge asks for something using fruits.
Kaboodle Doodles wants a shaped card.
Cupcake Craft Challenge has a food & drink theme this week.

Thanks for looking,
Farrah

My Only Easter Card.

The only person I ever send an Easter card to is my sister-in-law. She'll be waiting anxiously for it, because I ALSO include a box of chocolates. Really it doesn't matter what my card looks like, she probably just rips through it to get to the yummy stuff.

This is the inside of the card,

For these fun challenges -
Totally Paper Crafts I've used their sketch this week.
Stampin' For the Weekend and
Magical Crafts are Easter themed, and
Totally Gorjuss wants ribbon. (They are totally Gorjuss over there btw. Check out the DT work. Amazing)

Thanks

Owl Card.

Oh I need to be super quick tonight. I have other, non-crafty things I need to get done *sigh*.
I thought that sometimes when I'm drawing with the kids, or have a bit of free time, I might design my own digis. Just for the fun of it. I love to draw. My first is an owl. If anyone out there uses it, please leave me a comment. I'd absolutely LOVE to see what you did with it!!

The card is for these challenges -
Totally Paper Crafts things with wings.
Crafty Ann's Challenges wants pink, lilac and lemon.
Sketch Saturday
Magical Crafts Fortnightly Challenge also things with wings.

Thanks
Farrah

My Button Storage.

Last weekend the family and I went to IKEA looking for bunkbeds for the boys. I didn't see any I liked but, wow, I got a ton of inspiration for different projects.
I saw some storage boxes there and decided to re-create them, only smaller. All my buttons are now neatly organized.

For 2 challenges-
Pollycraft Challengeswants you to use glitter.
Cupcake Craft Challengesasks for something mostly green.

Birthday Card with Frame.

What a great day today was. I took the kids to the park and the sun was shining and the fresh air felt fantastic. Plus I was surprised by how much the kids have grown since the last time we were there. This time the boys could climb ladders and swings and chit-chat with the other kids. Really fun.
Anyhoo, I made this set for - I don't know. I'm sure I'll get the chance to give it away at some point. I get the feeling my daughter will want the frame for her room though.

For these fun challenges-
Basic Grey Challenges - Photo Inspiration.
Magical Crafts Challenge - Wings
Kaboodle Doodles - Birthday
Cupcake Craft Challenges - Flower Power
Charisma Cardz - Butterfly
Polka Doodles - Wings

Thanks,
Farrah

What's Black and White and Fits Four Challenges?

This is my first attempt at negative stamping. This is where I say "and it won't be my last time", but I keep seeing so many different techniques that I'm looking forward to trying, who knows when I'll get back to it. Really, some of you out there do such amazing work!

Sketch Saturday and
Totally Gorjuss are both sketchs, and similar enough to incorporate both,
Cupcake Craft Challenges wants something with flowers and
Stampin' for the Weekend asks for monochromatic.

Until next time,
Farrah

Can This Really Be Happening?!

The kiddies are all playing together nicely. I thought I'd take a chance posting, see if they'll let me. Good thing there is a SAVE DRAFT button. I'm probably gonna need it.

This card is for 3 challenges;
Crafts 4 EternityThey have a sketch, including an inking technique ( I did sponging), and fabric. I had the idea to use denim. Big thanks to all the awesome DT's over there, I won last week!!
Totally GorjussSomething for Mum. When is Mother's Day in the UK? For us here in Canada it's in May. This card I made with my mother-in-law in mind. I thought it would be something she would like.
Magical Crafts Fortnightly Challengealso has a Something for Mom theme.
Almost done, a few minor fights from the sweeties, but I think I'm going to make it!
Thanks for stopping by,
Farrah

Wish Fairy.

I've stayed up way too late tonight getting this card finished, but I was on a roll and couldn't possibly stop. Besides, I'm in the middle of another card so atleast one needed to get done, right?
Today sure was a good day.

I love this digi. She is so cute. I'm entering her into these challenges:
Sketch Saturday A great sketch this week!
Cupcake Craft Challenges They want to see circles.
Pollycraft Challenges They ask for distressing.
